Overall Usage:

Microsoft Teams must not be used to process sensitive personal data. Users agree that information provided, exchanged or uploaded to Microsoft Teams will not contain any Sensitive personal data as defined by EU GDPR or other applicable legal regulations. If you are joining an Autoliv Microsoft Team as a guest, the group you are joining in Microsoft Teams is managed by Autoliv and your use of the Autoliv Microsoft Teams is subject to Autoliv policies. Autoliv may (i) control and administer your account, including modifying and terminating your access and (ii) access and process your data, including the contents of your communications and files. Your directory data (name, signup date, and email) in the Autoliv Microsoft Team may be visible to the administrator and other users of the services within the Autoliv Group global organization. Autoliv will not be responsible for maintenance or destruction of your communications or files in an Autoliv Microsoft Team and Autoliv policies will apply at all times.

Online Meetings & Video Conferencing:

Microsoft Teams video functions are optional to use. Participants can join an Online Meeting in any mode (audio-only, or audio and video). In order to ensure security of data and the privacy of persons who may be within range of the audio and video device, all individuals utilizing a video device agree to:

  • Adjust the camera so that persons not participating in the call / video will not be in the camera view (make use of the Microsoft Teams “blur your background” feature)
  • Inform the remote participants about any other local participant who is not in scope of the camera but may be able to hear the conversation
  • Inform participants if the Online Meeting will be recorded
  • Autoliv Group employees, contractors, consultants or other representatives shall ensure that use of the Microsoft Teams video function will not reveal confidential or secret information unless all parties involved in the Online Meeting are bound by appropriate contractual obligations such as a Non-Disclosure-Agreement
  • Unauthorized video recording utilizing Microsoft Teams is prohibited and, in some instances may be illegal.

Note: Content of Users identified as “hold” by Autoliv’s Legal Department will be retained indefinitely or for so long as deemed necessary. All of the above listed default retention tags will be ignored until Autoliv Legal Department removes the User from the “hold”. Once a User is removed from “hold” status, data will be “pruned” and content that has expired according to the applicable default retention period, will be deleted.

 

Your Data Subject Rights

Based on European Data Protection Regulation and other relevant Data Protection Laws you are entitled to address inquiries regarding your data subject rights towards Autoliv concerning the application that collect and process your personal data. These rights include the ‘Right to be Forgotten’ and the ‘Right to be Informed’. Please address your inquiries regarding this to Autoliv’s Data Protection Office using the contact information listed above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the country where you are living.
