Autoliv Europe Principal Entity

Autoliv Europe is launching a process to centralize customer and supplier contracts into a single transactional buy-&-sell legal entity to enhance efficiency and transparency, simplify our financial processes, and standardize our contract lifecycle management.

To implement this process, we have registered a company in Switzerland called Autoliv Switzerland GmbH, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Autoliv AB and is fully integrated into the same Autoliv Group structure as our customers’ current Autoliv contractual partners. This company will be the sole contract partner for all business awarded to a selection of Autoliv Europe’s production facilities.

The Swiss principal entity will have financial substance to support its obligations to Autoliv Europe's customers and suppliers. Following its full implementation in January 2026, a substantial portion of Autoliv Europe's sales (USD 2.9 billion in FY 2023) is expected to be made by the Swiss principal entity.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Autoliv Group, the Swiss principal entity is an integral part of the Autoliv Group’s business and contributes to the financial position and consolidated financial reporting of the NYSE-listed entity at Autoliv Group level (Autoliv Inc.; NYSE: ALV). You can find further information on Autoliv Group’s financial strength, rating, and related documents here: Investor Relations | Autoliv and Credit Rating | Autoliv.

This organizational change will not impact the operational and manufacturing processes or flow of physical goods from our production plants to our customers’ facilities. We will provide additional details as we work through the centralization process.
