Did you know that..... Autoliv has a number of collaborations with universities, research institutes and authorities in several countries to increase traffic safety and save more lives.?
Examples of such engagements include the China–Sweden Research Centre for Traffic Safety and the Sweden–India Transport Innovation & Research Platform (SITIS). Autoliv also participates in and contributes to research initiatives in Future Occupant Safety for Crashes in Cars (OSCCAR), Enable New Occupant Seating Positions (ENOP), and Proactive Safety Systems and Tools for a Constantly Upgrading Road Environment (SAFE-UP). Autoliv also collaborates with MIROS, the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research, with a focus on unprotected road users and motorcycle safety.

Did you know that..... Autoliv set ambitious climate goals in 2021?
The company’s own factories would be carbon dioxide-neutral by 2030, with an aim for net-zero emissions throughout the supplier chain by 2040. Autoliv was the first in the industry to do this.

Did you know that..... Autoliv has been focusing on “mobility safety” since the spin-off of Veoneer in 2018?
This involves solutions that protect all types of individuals in traffic, i.e., even pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers of various types of two-wheelers.

Did you know that.....Autoliv spun off operations in the area of Electronics in 2018?
This is when the company Veoneer was formed. The areas within active safety and passive safety had become far too different from each other. Developments in active safety also required a lot of capital and managerial focus, which influenced developments in passive safety.

Did you know that.....Autoliv made a large and popular investment for personnel in China during the country’s extensive lockdown?
Employees were offered the chance to live on the company’s campus, where they could be outside in the fresh air and have more normal social interaction than they would being confined in their apartments.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought a dramatic dip in the curve that had been gradually rising for many years. For Autoliv, organic sales dropped by 12 percent in 2020.

Did you know that.....when Autoliv was going to move production from the United Kingdom to Turkey, many employees came over from Turkey for a few months to learn the business?
When the line later moved to Turkey, many English employees came along as coaches. People still talk about the Turks and Englishmen who have kept in touch ever since.
