On June 3, Autoliv inaugurated its Innovation Center in Vårgårda, Sweden, an important milestone in the company’s continued commitment to advancing mobility safety and saving more lives.
Located where Autoliv’s journey began more than 70 years ago, the Innovation Center brings together research, testing, prototyping, and pilot production in one integrated environment. By connecting the full innovation chain under one roof, the center enables faster development and strengthens the link between insight and real-world impact.
The inauguration brought together colleagues, partners and external stakeholders, reflecting the shared commitment across industry and society to further improve road safety. The center is designed as an open arena for co-creation, enabling close collaboration with customers, academia, and partners, while supporting teams across Autoliv globally.
By combining advanced digital tools with physical labs and testing environments, the Innovation Center enables faster validation and development of safety solutions. It strengthens how ideas are translated into technologies that perform in real-world conditions, where it matters most.
Rooted in Autoliv’s heritage in Vårgårda and connected to its global innovation network, the Innovation Center plays a key role in shaping the future of mobility safety.
