Brake controls and new braking systems use sensors to apply proper pressure for a given condition to maintain optimum braking and offer features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-locking Brakes (ABS) and Traction Control System (TCS).
With Nissin Kogyo, Autoliv now can offer strong technologies in both traditional brake actuation, brake control and new braking systems. Autoliv finalized it's joint venture with Nissin Kogyo to form Autoliv-Nissin Brake Systems (ANBS). The joint venture is an important milestone in Autoliv’s strategy to be the leader in safety systems for the future car, well integrated with autonomous driving.
