Autoliv Mourns the Death of its General Counsel
and the Chairman of its Estonian Subsidiary |

(Stockholm, March 7, 2007) - Autoliv’s 51% owned subsidiary AS Norma in Estonia today announced with great sadness and in accordance with its obligation to the Tallinn Stock Exchange, that the Chairman Mr. Jörgen Svensson of its Supervisory Board passed away suddenly on March 1, 2007. He also served as Vice President for Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary of Autoliv Inc. He joined Autoliv in 1989 and became Vice President for Legal Affairs in 1994 for Autoliv AB, the Swedish predecessor to Autoliv Inc. He reached the age of 45.
Awaiting the appointment of a successor to Mr. Svensson, Mr. Michael Anderson, Vice President for Legal Affairs of Autoliv North America, will temporarily act as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mr. Niclas Nelson, Associate General Counsel of Autoliv AB, will temporarily manage the Company’s Legal Department at the Company’s head office in Stockholm.
