| Autoliv Honored with DaimlerChrysler Award |

| | (Stockholm, Feb. 18, 2004) --- Autoliv, the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, has recently won a Global Supplier Award for 2003 from DaimlerChrysler. The award was given to the best suppliers in eight procurement segments. These companies have demonstrated outstanding performance "in quality, cost-efficiency, technology and delivery precision" worldwide. Autoliv was the best supplier in the Interior Components category.
"These award-winning suppliers exemplify our pursuit of working with benchmark suppliers around the world," said Tom Sidlik, member of the DaimlerChrysler Board of Management responsible for Global Procurement & Supply. "The Global Procurement and Supply organization is committed to supporting DaimlerChrysler's strategic vision, global presence, strong brands, broad product range and technology leadership".
Autoliv is extremely proud of winning this prestigious award, especially after receiving the Chrysler Group's Component Award as well as two Gold Awards from Chrysler last year for outstanding performance.
