(Stockholm, Aug. 20, 2003) -- After having inceased its dividend by 18% for the first quarter, Autoliv Inc. (NYSE: ALV and SSE: ALIV) - the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems - has decided to increase its quarterly dividend to shareholders by another 15% to US $.15 per share for the fourth quarter of 2003.

The dividend will be payable on Thursday December 4, 2003, to the Autoliv stockholders of record on the close of business, Thursday November 6, 2003.
