Children's Safety

The safety of children is just as important for Autoliv as that of adults. Autoliv has therefore developed a series of special safety products for children, including: a child seat (for children up to around 4 years), a child booster cushion (for children between 3-10 years), an integrated child booster cushion (for children between 3 and 10 years) and an integrated child seat (for children between 3 and 10 years).
All products are approved in accordance with European Standard ECE R44-03. |

| Separate Child Seats |
| These seats are separate and can be moved from one vehicle to another and positioned at best suitable place in the vehicle. Please note that no rearward facing child seat should be placed in a seat with a passenger airbag, frontal or side. |

Rearward Faced Child Seats - smaller children (0-4 years)

Child Booster Cushion - children (3-10 years)

Rearward faced child restraint for small children (3-18 kg). The seat can be placed in the front passenger seat or rear seat.
NOTE: Do not place in a passenger seat if the car is equipped with a passenger airbag!

Child Booster Cushion with adjustable backrest for children (15-36 kg). The backrest is adjustable in height and has two positions; one upright and one slightly leaning backwards - for a better comfort. The Booster Cushion can be separated from the backrest and used on its own. |

| Integrated Child Seats |
These child seats are mounted to the vehicle's seat and can easily be folded away for more space. The combination of the car's regular central 3-point seatbelt, the seat's adjustable head restraint and the position in the rear of the car, makes this a safe position in the car for a child.
