Why did you join Autoliv?   What is it like working in Autoliv Asia Pacific?   What is a proper background for a Director of Technical and Marketing in AAP?   What different skills are needed in your function?   What do you enjoy most about your work at Autoliv?   Anything else?	Why did you join Autoliv? I saw an ad in the newspaper that Autoliv AB was recruiting young engineers for their trainee program back in 1995. I was looking for other similar job opportunities, but was interested and curious about the products and Autoliv's image as an innovative, dynamic company. What is it like working in Autoliv Asia Pacific? It's like working on the "ultimate frontier" because this is where we see the automotive business still growing rapidly. The pace of it all and the different cultures, market conditions and challenges between local and global perspectives are mindboggling but that happens to be what I love about the job. What is a proper background for a Director of Technical and Marketing in AAP? 5-10 years with Autoliv, good communication and technical skills. A good network of people in the different Autoliv companies globally is key. What different skills are needed in your function? Big ears and an open mind. Being able to communicate clear directions. Realizing that the world is not black or white. To be able to prioritize different actions based on knowledge of each local market/company. What do you enjoy most about your work at Autoliv? To be part of the leading company in this industry. The growth possibilities, both personal and professional, Autoliv offers me and my family. Anything else? No, not for now.
