Passive Safety

Using radar and vision technologies to monitor the vehicle surroundings, our active safety systems can intervene with warnings and braking before a crash, thereby making driving easier, safer and more comfortable.

Thanks to passive safety systems such as seatbelts and airbags, vehicle safety has substantially improved. Today Autoliv's products are estimated to save 25,000 lives annually and prevent ten times as many injuries.
